Accessibility
Our commitment to making Gu usable by everyone.
We want everyone to be able to read and watch Gu.
What we do
- Every video has the full script printed beneath it on the story page.
- Pages work with keyboard navigation and screen readers, and show a visible focus outline.
- Text meets WCAG 2.1 AA contrast, the site respects reduced-motion settings, and the rotating trending headline pauses on hover, on keyboard focus and with its pause button.
- Pages reflow on small screens and when zoomed to 200%.
Known gaps
- Video clips don't yet have burned-in captions. The script on each page is the full transcript.
